Introduction to Elephant Mountain in Taipei
Like Yangmingshan, Elephant Mountain is one of the must-do excursions in the Taipei region. The climb, mainly consisting of steps, takes between 15 and 20 minutes to reach the viewpoint that has made the place famous. Day or night, the platform offers the best possible view of Taipei and the Taipei 101 tower. And if you want to continue your climb further, a route of approximately 1.5 km is possible and will take you to other parts of the city.

How to get to Elephant Mountain?
Take Metro Line 2 (Tamsui-Xinyi Line) and get off at Xiangshan Terminal, Exit 2 (signs indicate the direction of travel).
