Introduction to Yangmingshan National Park
The Taipei region’s natural wonders are endless, and Yangmingshan Park is one of them. Ranging from 200 to 1,200 meters above sea level, it offers varied landscapes with lush vegetation and a multitude of hiking trails. The climate and colors vary with the seasons: lush meadows, flowering trees, a sea of clouds, rainbows… Depending on when you visit Yangmingshan, the landscapes you’ll encounter will be different. And if you feel like it, you can also relax in one of the park’s hot springs.
Note: While there are plenty of trails, the park is still quite large, and it’s advisable to take one of the few buses to get from one point of interest to another. Getting from one point of interest to another by car (or taxi) or scooter is also a time-saving idea.
