Presentation of the Pescadores Islands
The Penghu archipelago, located west of the Taiwanese coast, is made up of more than 90 islands and offers magnificent maritime panoramas coupled with a deep history and culture, still too little known to international tourists. While cities are well represented on the archipelago, nature and traditions dominate: turquoise waters and white coral, fishing villages, seafood galore, small islets cut off from the world, sunsets… There is plenty to do in Penghu. And if the winds are mild, how about doing a little windsurfing?
The archipelago is accessible from 5 Taiwanese cities (Taipei, Taichung, Chiayi, Tainan, and Kaohsiung, with ferries departing from Chiayi and Kaohsiung in particular).
